Rueil-Malmaison (France), December 9, 2013 – Chris Hummel is joining Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, as Chief Marketing Officer, Executive Vice-President and Member of the Executive Committee. Reporting directly to Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric, Chris has responsibility for the company’s marketing.
Chris has a rich background in marketing, sales and general management and is a true international executive, having lived, worked, and successfully led organizations in places like the US, Germany, Russia and Singapore. He joins Schneider Electric from Unify (formerly known as Siemens Enterprise Communications), where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer and repositioned the company by launching its new brand and architecting the commercial vision behind its communication and collaboration offerings. Previously, Chris held several executive sales, product and marketing roles at SAP and Oracle.
