Rueil-Malmaison (France), February 21, 2014 – Luc Rémont, Country executive of Bank of America-Merrill Lynch France, will join Schneider Electric in spring 2014. Following an inclusion time to acquire a deeper knowledge of Schneider Electric and its employees, he will take operational functions. He will bring to Schneider Electric his industry expertise and his experience in industrial groups’ development.
Luc Rémont graduated from École Polytechnique and École Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (Ensta) and started his career in 1993 as an engineer at the French Ministry of Defence.
From 1996 to 2007, he subsequently held several positions at the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, among which he served at the French Treasury dealing first with the international development banks (e.g. World bank, EBRD), then representing the French state shareholder in companies of the transport sector. From 2002 to 2007, he served as technical advisor, then deputy chief of staff of Ministers of Finance.
He joined Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in 2007 and was head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch Corporate and Investment Banking for France since 2009.
